Pastor 

Mark Pence has been in the ministry for over 49 years. He started as a youth minister and music minister while in college. He did over 30 years of youth ministry before becoming a pastor.

 

He and a group of 14 charter members started Monuments Baptist Church in 2007. They were looking for a traditional church that taught the whole Bible, sang Hymns, and made you feel welcome. They accomplished that by starting Monuments Baptist Church.

Pastor Mark currently leads music during service and leads our choir. He teaches an Adult Sunday School class on Sunday mornings before service. 

 

Pastor Mark has a wife, Cathy Pence, and they have been married and serving together since 1983. They have two children and seven grandchildren (four here and three in Heaven). Pastor Mark cares about his congregation and is always there to support and help.
